Everyday is a sun day

June 1, 2011

I would like to introduce Sun Protection Zone, a leading brand in total sun products.  The company makes sun apparel for active children and adults who love the sun.  The clothing offers 100% UVA and UVB protection to prevent sun exposure and sun damage.  There are tons of styles to choose from such as one-piece suits for the little ones, and separate long and short sleeve tops and bottoms for the older children and adults.

Most sun damage is caused from too much sun exposure as a child, so it is important to start protecting our skin at a young age.  Our skin is our largest organ in our body, meaning it is susceptible to the most diseases and tends to take the largest beating.  As skin cancer becomes more prevalent, people are starting to realize that being tan is not necessarily healthy.  Both UVA and UVB are harmful rays and we need to defend against them.  By wearing sun protective clothing as well as always wearing a hat and sunglasses we can hopefully bring down the rate of skin cancer while bringing more awareness to the harshness of the sun.

The EPA has put out a new catch phrase for this summer: Slip, Slop, Slap, and Wrap.  Slip on a shirt (even better a sun protection shirt), slop on some sunscreen, slap on a hat  (with sun protection) and wrap on some sunglasses (with UVA and UVB protection).  Let’s have some fun in the sun this summer!
